Mr. Flaim has developed a unique process for painting glass that has the overall look of stained glass, but with the rich
texture and detail only available through paint. Mr. Flaim has been commissioned to paint original works of art for homes
of distinction in two ways.
The first way involves painting a home's window to create a special look
and feel unique to the homeowner, home designer or builder. Mr. Flaim first consults with the client for an image they have
an interest in. He then draws the line work that will become the lead lines, and paints the image directly onto the home's
window.
The second way relates to smaller works on separate plates of glass that are framed so they can then
be hung in front of windows. Although any size is possible, these pieces are generally not larger than the width of typical
windows, and reference detailed themes or ideas.
